Senior Wellness
Denise Thomas-Morrow offers a unique program for Seniors! The senior population that works with Denise actually starts at the age of 50 and older! The Senior Wellness program that is offered by Let’s Move, brings challenges to the client in different ways. Strength training is done using weights, bands, tubes, and balls. Aerobic (cardiovascular conditioning) is performed in a chair, standing, and walking. Phrase are complied to encourage the participants to work on heart health as well as stimulate the brain. Balance and gait cueing is given to help the student achieve security in their persistence to continue in there movement. Yoga is used for flexibility and The Alexander Technique is given for alignment and relaxation. The class offers encouragement for people to stay active and keep on moving!!
